In Spring Semester 2024, The Gaines Center sponsored a new inaugural Humanities Laboratory course, where students were challenged to learn and experience the hands-on Humanities work! They learned about Socrates while learning to juggle, found out how to create a monument, and restored damaged documents and artifacts! 

This course is a team-taught, deep dive into what humanities in action can look like in contemporary society.
